If you feel like your closet just isn't meeting your storage needs, what it might be missing is a closet organization system. Installing a system is fairly easy, especially with the do-it-yourself closet systems available at places like Home Hardware, Lowe's and even Wal-Mart.
Wire closet organization systems are the most common -- they're often what you see in the closets of new home construction. They can go far beyond the standard rod and shelving, though. There are now systems available that include wire baskets for odd and ends like socks and underwear, ties, belts, etc.
With the right closet organization system, you can make your closet work far more efficiently for you.
